The T. Rowe Price Career and Innovation Center is a seamless connection of career service professionals located at University Center 114. We serve students from freshman year through graduation and beyond. Whether you are interested in selecting the right major, exploring career options, looking for a part-time job or internship, or preparing for an interview, our team is here to help you. Our services include:

  • Handshake, our career management platform with thousands of internship and job postings
  • Dozens of career events aimed at exploring fields and connecting with alumni and employers
  • Customized classroom workshops aimed at integrating career development into curriculum
  • Curated resources for students from specific populations including Pre-Health

Career Advising Appointments

Career advising can help at every stage of planning for life after UCCS. If you are in need of one-on-one help in your career planning, it might be time to schedule a career advising appointment. Career advising is available through college-based as well as all-majors career advisors. Advising is available on a variety of topics including:

  • Professional documents (resumes, cover letters)
  • Job/internship search
  • Interview strategies
  • Graduate/professional school preparation
  • Networking and online presence

Career Fairs and Events

We host a variety of career fairs and events every academic year for students of all majors and years. A career fair is an excellent way to network with a large number of employers who want to hire UCCS students and alumni.  Attend to learn about different industries and available job and internship opportunities with specific companies. We also host other career events throughout the year including career exposure events, alumni panels, and workshops. Meeting and Interview Rooms

Our space is your space! Whether you’re looking to host an event, hold a meeting, take part in a virtual interview, or just need a quiet place to study, sign-up on Calendly here. You are also welcome to walk in and check availability. Room Options: 

The Innovation Lounge (holds 20-25) – open space that is great for speaker events, team building, panel events, networking etc.

(2) Huddle Rooms (holds 4-5) – good for smaller group projects or in-person/virtual meetings

(3) Interview Rooms (holds 2-3) – good for virtual interviews, 1:1 interviews, or small group projects.

*All rooms come with TV/Laptop hookup, Dry/Erase Board and markers
