Brenda Cruz

Brenda (she/her) is a graduate assistant at the T. Rowe Price Career and Innovation Center. At the center, she guides undergraduates, graduates, and alumni to understand best practices for searching and applying for jobs or graduate school. From resumes and cover letters to beating the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), she is dedicated to supporting students in becoming the best candidates possible. She previously worked with the center as a Peer Career Advisor and enjoyed the experience so much that she is back this summer to assist students in career development and planning.  

Brenda is an alumna of UCCS. She graduated in the fall of 2024 with a degree in Psychology. Currently, she is a graduate student in the College of Public Service pursuing a Master's of Social Work along with a certificate in Grant writing, Management, and Program Evaluation. Before dedicating time to higher education, she served as a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic in the U.S. Army.
