About
Kate Crandell, PT, DPT, MDiv
Kate is the Pre-Health Career Coach with the T. Rowe Price Career and Innovation Center. She is passionate about helping students identify, realize and attain their healthcare career goals.
Kate grew up in the Chicago area and attended Purdue University earning a B.A. in Community Health Education. She then went onto graduate school at Washington University in St. Louis (B.S. and M.S. in Physical Therapy), Louisville Seminary (Master of Divinity) and Shenandoah University (Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy). Before moving to Colorado Springs, Kate was an Associate Professor at Bellarmine University Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in Louisville, Kentucky. As a practicing physical therapist and educator of physical therapist students for over 35 years, Kate has extensive experience working with graduate students and she is excited to work with UCCS undergraduate students who would like to enter the healthcare field.
In her free time, Kate enjoys all things outdoors, especially downhill skiing. Kate and her wife Elizabeth are travel enthusiasts, big-time foodies, self-proclaimed “gym rats,” and owned and operated by two feline companions, Faith and Hope.
