This positionis responsible for supporting the Marketing & Communications ProgramManager in communication to current and future students, alumni, and communitystakeholders through web design, social media, email, and the creation ofpromotional materials. This position will assist the Marketing &Communications Program Manager in implementing and developing web content andlayout, developing newsletters and email marketing campaigns, developing and designingmarketing collateral, creating content plans for College of Business socialmedia accounts, and assisting in marketing communication plans. These duties and services are provided forvarious COB stakeholders to include graduate, undergraduate, grant-fundedprograms, non-credit programs, and special initiatives. Work on some nights andweekends may be required. Other duties as assigned. Job duties for College-wide marketing projects:
- Supports Marketing and CommunicationsProgram Manager in creation of content and communications across a variety ofCOB platforms, including social media, email, website, print and digitalmarketing materials, videos and/or advertisements.
- Assists Marketing andCommunications Program Manager and Operations Manager of the UCCS EconomicForum and College of Business Events in designing and sending e-communicationsfor COB offices.
- Supports writing copy for avariety of communication purposes and materials (press releases, articles,newsletters, website, emails, flyers, etc.)
- Ensuresand maintains compliance with design standards, logo usage, and Americans withDisabilities Act requirements.
- Researchesand stays up-to-date on current marketing trends in higher education and beyond.
- Assists in monitoring and designingwebsite content through the campus web content management system and corrects websiteproblems (broken links, images, etc.)
- Utilizes analytics tools such as Google Analytics, social media aggregators, and conversion data to interpret metrics. Researches, collects, and summarizes metrics (e.g. web page performance, open/click-through rates, search volume, advertising campaign performance, etc.) and reports to the Marketing and Communications Program Manager.

MinimumQualifications:
- Current UCCS graduate student with anundergraduate degree or experience in marketing, communications, or relatedfield.
PreferredQualifications:
- At least one (1) year of full-time equivalent work experience with social media management for an organization.
- Experience working for a university or a non-profit company.
